Our Surfriders club is in its 30th year and we pride ourselves on promoting the advancement of women’s surfing throughout all levels, in a safe and supportive environment. Lennox Head, on the far North Coast of NSW Australia is where we are based. We cater for those who are just starting out to those girls that are surfing at a more advanced level.
Our monthly club rounds are on the 4th Sunday of every month from February to November and provide you with the opportunity to get together with a fun group of like minded girls/ladies that share the same passion for the ocean. The club round competitive spirit is enhanced by learning how to judge heats, ocean awareness and competing against other girls of a similar level to yourself. We offer 7 different division for you to surf in, junior and senior beginner, junior and senior intermediate, longboards, open or advanced and Wahine Masters.
Throughout the year we also provide 2 professional coaching sessions for each division, both of our coaches that we have on board have a long history of coaching and between them cover both beginner and advanced levels, this is a great opportunity to get some tips to help improve your surfing. Other activities throughout the year include a weekend annual camp out, our hard-core winter prize round and an inter-club tag team challenge, all fun and exciting events to be involved in!
